Monologue
I learned a lot from the performance. That's a very exciting experience for me. I haven't get in touch with monologue before. I am too shy to do monologue in China but when I came to American I feel more outgoing and confident because Ms Guriano always encourage me and inspire me to do monologue. It became a inevitable section in my life. My monologue is about a ware wolf. I think my Howl is too annoying and harsh. Because it will change the voice when I try to howl in my throat. Ms Guriano encourage me to do that other classmates also encourage me to howl. Luckily it's very good and I am satisfied of my performance. Monologue is focus on soliloquy performance. I am afraid to give a speech or performance if there are so much audience. I feel good of my monologue because I create that scene when acting. I turn off the light put a rock on the floor and there is moonlight. I feel a little nervous at first but at last I perform very smoothly at last. The most difficult things in monologue I think is memorization. You need to memorize all the stuff you need to speak when you are acting. It's difficult for me to combine two things together I will forget when I am acting. That's super awkward and embarrassing especially there are so much audience. It's definitely a challenge. I solve this problem. I read my word again and again and underline the important words. I memorized it time by time finally remember it. I learned a lot from acting class. I get great help from Ms Guriano , she taught me how to perform well and put my own emotion in it is also a necessary part. You need to be really patient of the acting class. Monologue is also a diversified curriculum. It's related to life.
